I’ve had two, a Super Mirage roadie and a 600HT. Decent bikes, but still made in Taiwan.

Road bike is designed for the roads. CX bikes for mixed use. So as expected the CX bike will be heavier, wider wheels, gearing leaning more to a mtn bike’s. When I think of a CX bike, I think of a hybrid with drop bars.
